Christine O’Donnell thinks “Pinky and the Brain” is a documentary, claims scientists made mice with human brains

September 5, 2014

“They are — they are doing that here in the United States. American scientific companies are cross-breeding humans and animals and coming up with mice with fully functioning human brains. So they’re already into this experiment.”

– Christine O’Donnell, Tea Party Republican in a 2007 appearance on The O’Reilly Factor

Christine O’Donnell, who is definitely not a witch, really doesn’t understand much in the scientific realm. She might be referring to a study where human brain cells were grown in mice, but that falls very short of the claim of “fully functioning human brains.” Genetically combining a mouse and human remains in the realm of 90’s children’s cartoons.

Remember, this woman was hoping to take a place in the U.S. Senate, previously held by Joe Biden. Please consider this fact when you think about the kind of representation you would like for your state.
